Sandra’s been transforming people and organizations for more than 20 years. She started marketing health care as the industry consolidated through mergers and acquisitions. The world was changing and so were patient expectations, technology, regulations and requirements around cost and quality reporting. Sandra pivoted to lead organizational change to help providers succeed in the new environment and later brought that experience to other organizations.
Sandra's a business person first focusing on outcomes. She is known for a strategy-first approach and delivering creative solutions to broad digital, process and culture transformations. She simplifies and applies complex theories to drive profitable growth, innovation, improvement, engagement and customer satisfaction. Transformation requires a diverse culture that embraces change. She breaks silos and develops talent to help organizations be better at adapting to new realities.
Sandra is curious - always asking questions to better understand emerging trends and anticipate what's around the corner. As an adjunct graduate business professor, she teaches leadership, ethics, organizational development and managerial communication creating interactive experiences that challenge people to apply knowledge and solve problems. She earned an MA in Communication and Rhetoric, BA in Business Administration and Management, and completed additional graduate MBA work. She has Change Management Practitioner Certifications with the Association for Change Management Professionals and Prosci (Practitioner and Prosci Trainer). Lorin has promoted change for more than 20 years, beginning her career as an instructional designer. She became known for her design thinking with a keen ability to view issues from the customer’s lens. She is adept at uncovering customer needs, assessing readiness and risk, breaking down complex workflows, simplifying processes, and working with programmers to design viable and appealing tech solutions. She develops and applies critical thinking when leading technology, process, and culture change.
Seeing a need for medium-size companies to use technology better, she established Trumpeter Marketing, growing the business from a web design firm into a marketing and technology consultancy. Throughout her career, she’s been sought after to help businesses modernize their ways of working, use technology to improve performance, and promote information security. She’s advanced digital transformations, leading change for a range of technology projects.
Lorin quickly establishes trust in part due to her authenticity. With her unique, balanced right-brain-left-brain thinking, Lorin is a talented communicator – especially in negotiation and conflict management. These qualities distinguish her on teams and enable her to successfully remove barriers, overcome resistance to change, and cultivate transformation at the individual, team, and organizational levels.
